Ignition Entertainment Ltd., a worldwide publisher and developer of videogames, and co-publisher Playlogic today announced that Obscure: The Aftermath has reached Gold Master status! It is scheduled for release on March 25, 2008, for Wii home video game system from Nintendo ($29.99), PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system ($19.99) and PC ($14.99).

Today, Playlogic has announced that it will be releasing Obscure II for the PS2 and PC in Q3 2007 and for the Wii in Q4 2007. If you are into campy teen horror flicks and survival horror games, this game may just be for you, with a soundtrack performed by the Boston Symphonic Orchestra and the Paris Opera Children's Choir.

It might not sound like much, but there's been a huge leap in animation technology recently thanks to Image Metrics' facial expression recording capabilities. Codemasters evidently thinks it's important, as it's drafted in Image Metrics to help with putting the horrors of war on the faces of Operation Flashpoint 2's characters.
VG247's reporting that Operation Flashpoint 2 has been delayed until next year, and that the game's first trailer will be released on Friday.
