I personally don't like the fact of "going back to WWII". I've played waaay too many WWII shooters. I loved them all but Call of Duty 2 would have to be the winner of WWII. COD2 was a true classic. I played COD3 and beat it(Veteran was way too hard), played online as well (too empty, good but not fun). COD4:Modern Warfare would be the winner for me, although I'm suprised at the good reception WAW is getting from gamers. I played the beta and had a blast, but it was enough to move on. I am currently playing Gears 2, will play Left 4 Dead when it arrives then back to Gears 2 once I'm done.
Wow, I guess no other games exist outside of the Playstation brand. Anyway, if anyone's played "Lost Planet" then anyone would know how the explosions in that game are the most realistic and best looking to date(see for yourself, it's guaranteed you'll agree). I'm also convinced that if any other game's walls look the best it would be Gears of War's walls. They are by far the most detailed and best looking. Just those 2 games I would have included. And Black definitely deserves recognition, it's what most people liked about that game.
I was walked in by my mom on the Dead to Rights scene where you control the dancer. "So is that what you do in your spare time!", she said. I was embarrased!
I still don't see where Gears 1 "failed" storywise! It was perfect, not too much info but just enough. Not too vague and not too detailed to bore you, and full of action! WTF? I hate when people complain so much that they change the game and it no longer plays the same. Gears 1 will go down in the hall of fame for one of the best and complete games ever!
I thought Carbon was better than Most Wanted, especially with the extreme customizations, the many online modes, and all the concept cars they had available. Not to mention the downloadables. I liked the Most Wanted chick better though. Looking forward to this game, no doubt. I have always been a NFS fan, wasn't a prostreet fan so much.
